31 Days of Halloween — 2026 Edition

I’ve periodically used October as a month to watch horror films. It’s a genre I occasionally dip into but it’s not something that I avidly watch (I’m more a sci-fi kinda girl).

So in order to move my viewing away from my sci-fi staples I’ll be attempting to watch 31 films over the month of October with the following loose rules in place:

• 🪦The film must be new to me, or something I haven’t watched for at least 10 years
• 🪦Must be horror with some sci-fi horror allowed so I still get a bit of my favourite       genre
• 🪦Any release year, even milder stuff from the 40s and 50s counts. It’s the genre not      the bodies that count

I’ll be dropping a short review on Letterboxd, with a full review on here on What Katy Reviewed Next. While I’ll be watching the films across October, the reviews may lag behind a bit so bear with me on that front.
